Founded in 1983, this organization currently has about 175 members who write a wide variety of music. SOWI holds meetings each month in three locations: Appleton, LaCrosse and Milwaukee. Meetings feature song critiques, live performances and guest speakers. SOWI also publishes a newsletter approximately every six weeks.

Attracting members from several mid-Atlantic states, SAW is an active, non-profit organization which is based in Washington, D.C. The group regularly holds meetings, critique sessions, Open Mics, and showcases. SAW also sponsors the annual Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, and publishes a bi-monthly newsletter. Website

A national organization based out of Washington DC offering Contests, Concerts, Training events, Workshops, Conferences and Industry contacts for Christian songwriters throughout the United States.
