Established in 1992, this group holds a monthly meeting the second Thursday in the basement conference rooms of the Care-A-Lot Inn, 1111 W. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth. Meetings include song critiques, workshops, and guest speaker forums. FWSA also sponsors an "Open Mic Showcase" every Monday night at The Rig Restaurant, 6308 South Freeway in Fort Worth. Established July 2005 in The Woodlands, TX, WSA is an organization offering an environment of support, information and creative inspiration to the songwriter hobbyist or to those wanting to advance to a more professional level, by providing opportunities to learn more about the craft and business of songwriting and to form creative partnerships and networking among fellow songwriters. WSA meets the second Monday of each month, 7:00pm, Borders Bookstore, Market Street, The Woodlands, TX, featuring group critique format, and occasional guest pro-writers and speakers.
